From January 7th to 10th, Makera proudly participated in CES 2025, held in Las Vegas, Nevada. Our booth, located at the 3D Printing Section in Venetian Expo, Halls A-D (#54448), was a hub of excitement and creativity. Under the theme "Smart and Versatile Desktop CNC for Everyone," we showcased the innovation and versatility of our flagship products, leaving an indelible mark on attendees.
At our booth, visitors explored three machines—two Carvera Air units and one Carvera - along with a diverse collection of accessories and project examples. Live demonstrations brought the machines to life, drawing attention from CNC enthusiasts and visitors who were entirely new to CNC technology. Our team actively engaged with attendees, helping them understand the differences between CNC machining, 3D printing, and laser engraving. This hands-on approach sparked curiosity and inspired many to envision how Carvera could elevate their projects.
A highlight of our exhibit was the debut of Makera's self-developed Dust Collector. Designed to simplify the workspace, this innovative product combines power and practicality:
Using the Dust Collector is as simple as rotating a dial—left for automatic control by the machine or right for manual operation. Visitors were impressed by its sleek design and user-friendly features.

Makera's innovation was honored at CES 2025 with a "Best of Kickstarter 2024" award, recognizing Carvera Air as a standout project. This acknowledgment follows a remarkable achievement at CES 2024, where our Carvera was also awarded the "Best of Kickstarter" title. Launched on Kickstarter in 2021, Carvera raised $1.7 million, becoming the top-ranked CNC project on the platform. With the introduction of Carvera Air—a more affordable and versatile solution aimed at a broader audience of makers—our product significantly impacted Kickstarter. In just the first hour, Carvera Air garnered $1 million in support and ultimately raised nearly $3.5 million, breaking our previous record. This marks a monumental achievement for Makera, as we've received official Kickstarter awards for two consecutive years with two groundbreaking products.
Our booth became a hotspot for media interviews and KOL collaborations as influencers and journalists explored Carvera and Carvera Air's features and potential. The buzz extended across platforms, generating excitement within and beyond the CES venue.
Though our booth was situated in the 3D Printing Section, it drew significant attention compared to surrounding exhibits. Many visitors, regardless of their prior knowledge of CNC, left with a clear understanding of its capabilities and potential. Attendees were particularly captivated by Carvera and Carvera Air's precision, versatility, and user-friendly nature. Seeing their enthusiasm reaffirmed our mission to empower makers with smart desktop CNC solutions.
The CES 2025 experience was unforgettable from start to finish. On the first day, our team gathered for a photo full of energy and excitement, ready to share our innovative products with the world. As the event concluded, we captured another moment—the booth packed up and prepared for its next journey—a bittersweet reminder of our incredible connections and experiences over the four days.
